Samaritans Awareness Day, Friday 24 July

24 July is Samaritans Awareness Day (24/7), a reminder that support is available at any time, day or night, for anyone who may be struggling with their mental health or emotional wellbeing. The date reflects the Samaritans' message that they are there to listen 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Samaritans provides a safe, confidential space for people to talk about whatever is on their mind without judgement.
Support available to you
Remember that our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering confidential support, advice and counselling for a wide range of personal and work-related issues.
You can call the EAP 24/7 on 0330 380 0658.
We also have a network of Listening Ears across our organisation.
Our Listening Ears are colleagues who can talk to you about anything that is on your mind. They are good listeners who can discuss your concerns and help you find a way forward.
